For this 100th Classical Clip of the Month (!) we turn to another underrated composer who is finally starting to get her due: Rebecca Clarke. Romantic to the core, one hears tinges of French writing in her works. Here, in one of her best-known pieces, she demonstrates her comfort for writing for the instrument which built her playing career: the viola.
