In my continuing effort to atone for inadvertently leaving Callas off the CCM for so long, we return this month to another landmark performance by her. This time it's Verdi's turn, with that great masterpiece, Rigoletto. Once again Callas is joined by di Stefano, Gobbi and de Sabata. Here, Adriana Lazzarini joins in for that most excellent of quartets, "Bella figlia dell'amore."
